About Me

Hi! My name is Debbie and I'm so glad you stopped by. I'm the owner of Dewdrop Gables, a hobby-business I work out of our home in Mount Pleasant, a small village in south-western Ontario.

My husband and I are empty-nesters with 5 kids and 10 grandkids. We have 2 cats and 2 ponds full of fish. My husband also operates his business from our home. We are avid golfers so you can find us on the links in the warmer weather. 

I am addicted to paper crafting, specifically creating junk journals and greeting cards. I also love to make earrings. I also craft home & garden décor.

I used to refurbish old furniture I found at yard sales, thrift stores, or hand-me-downs from friends. I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint™ and Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint. I found it a bit too much, so I haven't been doing it in a couple of years. 

I have another blog I wrote in for a year before starting the Gables. Dewdrop Gardens is about (obviously) my gardens as well as my love of crafting and decorating our home. I consolidated it with this blog, that is why you'll see my old watermark on older posts.
